Russ Doucette's team is as much a family as a business. Employees, along with subcontractors, share a very personal commitment to quality work and attention to client's wishes. Everyone pulls on his (or her) oar in the same personalized, quality-conscious direction.
Russ comes from a family of craftsmen and went to college at Northern Maine Vocational and Technical Institute in Presque Isle, Maine. After school, he worked for several different construction companies in the Portland area. Once on his own, he found that a consistent and unflagging commitment to quality, as well as integrity and honesty, have proven the keys to success.
Organized + Diplomatic
Tim has an extraordinary attention to detail, great organization skills, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. When he found these same priorities in Russ, he left commercial construction for the Doucette organization. He takes particular pride in combining the complex needs of scheduling with the creative process of making a client's dreams a reality.
Creative + Comedic
Brian's has been in the building trades for 30 years, with Russ for 15 of them. His area of greatest expertise is finishing, where he enjoys working because it allows him some creative license. He prides himself on listening to clients.
Skilled + Thorough
Ed's work often focuses on cabinetry. Like many Doucette employees, Ed especially enjoys the one-of-a-kind challenges inherent in custom homes. He notes that Russ runs his group like a family, including the subcontractors in this tightly-knit group. Russ, Ed says, "Expects the very best quality and provides great tools." Even better, "He really listens to the people he works with."
Enthusiastic + Eager
Chris recently joined Russ Doucette CHB and has already become an integral part of the team. Bringing experience in landscaping and masonry, he is active on multiple projects. A real handy “utility player”, he possesses a growing expertise in several trades. Chris has the opportunity to apprentice alongside Eddie and Brian, both skilled and seasoned trim carpenters. He currently lives in Windham and enjoys playing hockey.
Janet has been with the company two and half year and brings 9 years of experience working in both office and hospitality settings. Her passion for art and photography meld well with the creativity that she sees in the design/build process. All stems from an idea, raw materials, a process, and a deadline. Seeing a project come together from the first idea to the finished product is highly satisfying. Working with Russ is the icing on the cake.
