My first and only experience working with a contractor was with Russ Doucette. I had heard nightmares about other people's experiences with their contractors and was praying Russ would prove to be more pleasant and a lot less frustrating.
Our working relationship was wonderful, from designing the house through finished home and beyond. In most instances I knew exactly what I was looking for and Russ helped make that happen. In addition, he had many suggestions to make what I thought was already perfect, even better. He was appreciative of all my compulsive drawings and suggestions and in the end everything paid off. There were very few times we actually had to compromise.
The team of workers, from foundation, to framing, to plumbing, to electrical, to finish work to interior and exterior painters, who worked on our house were top class! The craftsmanship is beautiful across the board.
I would highly recommend Russ Doucette Builders to anyone wanting more out of a building experience. Russ Doucette is, by far, a leader in his field.
