Russ Doucette Russ Doucette - Owner

Russ comes from a family of craftsmen and went to college at Northern Maine Vocational and Technical Institute in Presque Isle, Maine. After school he worked for several different construction companies in the Portland area. Once on his own he found that a consistent and unflagging committment to quality, as well as integrity and honesty, have proven the keys to success.

Tim Fecteau Tim Fecteau - Foreman

Tim has an extraordinary attention to detail, great organization skills and an uncompromising commitment to quality. When he found these same priorities in Russ he left commercial construction for the Doucette organization. He takes particular pride in combining the complex needs of scheduling with the creative process of making a client's dreams a reality.

Brian Brooks Brian Brooks

Brian's work often focuses on cabinetry. Like many Doucette employees, Brian especially enjoys the one-of-a-kind challenges inherent in custom homes. He notes that Russ runs his group like a family, including the subcontractors in this tightly-knit group. Russ, Brian says, "Expects the very best quality and provides great tools." Even better, "He really listens to the people he works with."

Chris Stevens Chris Stevens

Chris notes the challenges of custom home building include more than the obvious fact every house is different. Every customer is different, too. He enjoys that variety and the fact it means you have to think on your feet. "The finished product is satisfying when it really fulfills the homeowner's wishes," he says. "Russ' group," he adds, "is the only place I've worked where everyone gives their best every day."

Tom Walker Tom Walker

Tom enjoys his work with Russ in part because he gets to do "a little of everything." He is practiced in everything from framing to finish work, exteriors and roofing. He has been with the company for two years and, like the others working around him, enjoys the new challenges he faces all the time. Among the elements of this job he most appreciates is working with a boss and co-workers who give a little extra effort to every detail.

Ed Tirabassi Ed Tirabassi

Ed has been in the building trades for 20 years, with Russ for nine of them. His area of greatest expertise is finishing, where he enjoys working because it allows him some creative license. He prides himself on listening to clients and, to demonstrate as much, says he most enjoyed Russ' 50th birthday where many, many clients showed up for the celebrations.
